This book is about a little girl named Jane who grew up wanting to help animals. When Jane was a little girl she would take her stuffed toy chimpanzee, Jubilee, with her everywhere she went. And Jane really loved being outside. She would watch things happen in nature and watch animals doing what they do, and she wanted to learn everything she could about them so she would read books about them and study different things that were in her backyard. A day came when Jane was curious where eggs came from, so she snuck herself and Jubilee into the chicken cop and hid behind some straw and sat very quietly and still, until she saw a chicken come into the coop and lay an egg. Jane was very happy to be apart of something so beautiful and she felt much joy because of it. Most days Jane climber her favorite tree, and she would lay her head against it and seemed to fell the sap flowing beneath it. While in the tree, Jane would read and reread the books about Tarzan and Jane and their adventures while living in Africa. Jane imagined living in Africa one day and one night she went to bed, tucked Jubilee in, said her prayers and awoke to living in Africa. Her dream had come true and she was able to help the animals and care for them.

I liked this book for students because I think it would inspire students to chase after their dreams and that anything is possible. I think this book would best suit students in Pre-K-2nd grade, I would use this in a lesson to show my students that no matter what their dream is they can do anything. I think by Jane exploring on her own and learning new things on her own and read books to further her knowledge. I think students would want their dreams and hopes to be realized.
-Peace. Love. Giraffes.
